To manage capacity via an absence entry, you are asking the employee to create an absence entry for the days/hours they will not be working during the outbreak.
This may require a new absence code e.g. Unpaid Leave
Step-by step guide
- Go to the Settings module > Company Settings > Holiday and Absence
- In the Absence Codes tab click the ‘add a new absence code’ button
- Setup your new absence code
Once the absence code is setup, the employee can then add in an absence entry for the days/hours they will not be working
Which in turn, will update capacity reporting accordingly.
Remember: when changing an employee’s hours or days, previously scheduled tasks may need to be moved to accommodate the changes.
